Boy George has apologized to Jon Moss after reading a script of Boy George's soon to be filmed biopic - and it made him feel so sad about essentially kicking John Moss out of Culture Club (the current rift with Jon Moss) that Boy George reached out to Moss, according to a report in the Daily Star, to make amends. What was there in the script that prompted Boy George to act?
Boy George said "We are having this court case so I thought I would call him as I thought I was really moved by the script and I was really moved by the story of how we met and I suddenly thought: ‘You know what, I forgot about all that.’ I forgot about all that really amazing stuff when I met him and you know how much I was in love with him and how it was so beautiful and exciting and all the stuff happened. It got lost in all this kind of bitterness and all this feuding. So it was interesting for me to sit with Jon and go: ‘Actually mate, I might have to apologize to you for some things.”

John Moss of the band Culture Club is suing Boy George, also of Culture Club, for kicking John Moss out of the band Culture Club, according to a story in the Sun. John Moss' lawyer says Culture Club's manager Paul Kemsley told him to take a break after Culture Club's US tour. Moss' suit alleges he is owed over $250,000 in missing payments from the US tour.

UK band Culture Club formed in 1981 under the name "Praise of Lemmings", when co-founder John Moss pointed out the band was a blend of various cultures (Irish, British, Afro-Jamaican, Jewish and Gay) suggested changing the name to Culture Club to reflect the band-mates varied ethic backgrounds and histories. Culture Club, made up of Boy George, John Moss, Mikey Craig and George Hay would go on to put their stamp on the early 80's by selling more than 50 million records with hits such as "Karma Chameleon" and "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me" and introducing main-stream America to cross-dressing and gender ambiguity with a touch of blue-eyed soul.
